Lincolnshire Regiment
12 Tipton men died serving with the Lincolnshire Regiment. Of these, 3 were serving with the 10th battalion - the Grimsby Chums. Almost 120 men were transferred from the South Staffs to 'D' Company of the Grimsby Chums in October 1914.
